Steven Resnick, MBA, CPA

Steven is a Senior Director in the Blue Bell, Pennsylvania office of HBK.
Prior to joining HBK in November 2016, Steve founded the former Resnick Amsterdam Leshner, P.C. in 1984. A native of New Jersey, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Psychology, and then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (Accounting Major) degree from Temple University.
A Certified Public Accountant in PA and NJ, his interests and practice have led him into many fields of business, the most prominent of which have been professional sports, with an emphasis of professional baseball. He has been an owner/operator of two Minor League baseball teams: the Memphis Chicks, and the Harrisburg Senators and helped launch his former firm into the forefront of baseball accounting and consulting services in the region by securing more than 40 minor league teams, as well as dozens of individual and prominent professional athletes, as clients.
In addition to the sports niche, Steve’s experience includes small business and Professional Service Corporations. He is recognized as a Philadelphia Magazine “Five Star” selection in the Philadelphia Business Community relating to business planning, buying and selling businesses, and as an authority on Tax Planning, Business Management, and Due Diligence.
An avid sports fan and tennis player, Steven is the father of two and a long time resident of Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.
